The core of the collection contains 15 items including papers on women's suffrage, world peace and a world court, letters to Woodrow Wilson and Warren G. Harding, clippings and an essay entitled Reminiscences, about the early days in North Dakota [the latter item is missing]. The addition to the collection contains 3 items: one letter and two essays, one of which is another and shorter version of Reminiscences. Of particular interest in this collection are the two essays on Reminiscences [one missing] which give a personal history of homesteading on the Dakota prairie in the 1880's. Day to day life is described along with significant events of the time. Her description of prairie life gives a clear and personal view of life as a farm child.
